On the morning of March 12, SIXUNITED’s Hubei factory held a unique Tree Planting Day event centered around the theme “Plant Trees for New Greenery, Live Up to the Beautiful Spring.” Factory Director Wang led heads of various departments and employee representatives to gather at the north gate of the plant, planting trees of hope with their own hands, spreading green ideals through action, and bridging the gap between one another through collaboration and coordination.

At the start of the event, after a concise yet powerful call to action from the leaders, everyone orderly collected shovels, buckets, straw hats, and blessing cards. Putting on their straw hats and picking up their tools, colleagues who usually spend their days staring at screens and instruments now gripped their shovels tightly and stepped into the muddy earth. From that moment on, green development ceased to be just a slogan on the wall—it became the soil that was about to take root beneath their feet.

Each group consists of five people, with a mix of men and women and clearly defined roles. The male colleagues wield shovels to dig the soil and carefully straighten the saplings, while the female colleagues carry water to irrigate the trees and firmly tamp down the soil. Though the process seems simple, it’s filled with seamless coordination—no sooner has one side placed a sapling into the hole than the other side has already brought the watering bucket right over; as soon as one side calls out, “We’ve almost finished filling in the soil,” the other side is already stepping up to pack it down tight.
Our colleagues, who are busy in different roles on a daily basis, have now become the most perfectly matched partners. With each shovel of soil, we plant not just saplings, but also hearts and minds. Filling the soil, lifting the seedlings, tamping it down, watering… every step is carried out with meticulous care, as if completing a precise production process. The scene is bustling with energy yet remains perfectly organized. Colleagues crouch beside the tree pits, carefully adjusting the verticality of the seedlings, filling the soil while gently tamping it down with their feet to ensure the root system is tightly bonded with the soil. That earnest, no‑nonsense attitude is exactly the same as the rigor they bring to their work when it comes to products. It is precisely this down-to-earth, efficient, and pursuit-of-excellence mindset that enables SIXUNITED to take firm root in every challenge it faces.

After planting the saplings, everyone wrote their department names and team codes on the adoption plaques, then carefully penned their heartfelt little wishes on greeting cards. Some expressed their hopes for a better environment; others offered blessings for their work; and still others shared their aspirations for themselves—“I hope this year’s projects go smoothly,” “May Liulian continue to thrive”… The cards were gently hung from the branches, swaying in the breeze. In that moment, these saplings seemed to have become a promise between the people of Liulian and the future.
Tree planting is not the end; it’s the beginning of stewardship. After the event, the factory will assign dedicated personnel to conduct regular inspections of the seedlings’ growth, and will also organize subsequent maintenance activities such as watering and weeding to ensure that every tree thrives.
